Plant-Based Holiday Series **AN OLD FAVOURITE**

It can be challenging to stick to your plant-based way of eating over the holidays, but developing some strategies and gathering some amazing recipes so that you never feel deprived can definitely help! In this mini series we will create a variety of dishes that you can make if you are hosting a holiday dinner, or if you are attending a potluck, or a meal at someone else’s home. Join this series to learn why longtime vegans NEVER feel deprived over the holidays — and why delicious food doesn’t have to make you feel like you’ve swallowed a shoe!! 🙂 A full meal is included with each class.

I am pleased to be bringing back this class, a local favourite full of wonderful flavours! In each class of this series we will cook and eat  foods from a different country, which will allow us to explore some new ingredients, and emphasize the fact that plant-based cooking, while healthy, can also be amazingly varied and incredibly delicious. Featured cuisines will be decided by the class. You will learn how to make dishes from each cuisine plant-based and healthier with whole-food ingredients. Includes a full meal each class!

Plant-Based Everyday **NEW**

5-week series: Wednesdays September 11 – October 9
Location: Senior’s Centre Kitchen 6792 Cranberry Street

This is a brand new class for the fall of 2019 focusing on making healthy plant-based living easier on a daily basis. We will talk about what it means to eat a healthy, whole foods plant-based diet, learning the basics of nutrition that everyone should know in order to set themselves up for optimal health. We will get into the kitchen to learn skills, recipes and templates that will make it easier than ever to keep your fridge stocked with delicious plant-based foods to benefit your health without compromising flavour. We will study how batch cooking essential meal elements enables you to make a number of varied, delicious dishes. You’ll receive lots of support and ideas for implementing and nutritious, plant-based foods into your everyday. Each class we will cook and enjoy a full meal together so you can experience the food and all the practicalities we will be learning about!

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you have registered for a course and discover you can no longer attend for some reason, full reimbursement is available up to 2 weeks prior to the course start date. 50% will be reimbursed up to 1 week prior to the start date.
